My twin sister just visited with you at your home in Cape Cod and so enjoyed meeting you. You graciously autographed the inside of a purse for me as I collect vintage purses and you Sir - you are a legend. Thank you kindly .

I am an avid collector of your beautiful & stylish handbags and often use them for a special event. I am always on the look for a unique Wilardy! In the website photo of Uncle Fred, I believe I see the style & color Wilardy that was #1 in my collection!

I have loved your bags for 30 years and have about

use them.

Thank you

Just had to send an email! I just came across your MAGNIFICENT bags on eBay ! Talk about an innovator-you were so ahead of the trend Mr. Hardy! These bags are as fabulous today as they were back in the 1950's -60's! I feel so blessed to have come across your designs and now truly consider myself " the handbag diva" ( a name which was given to me by my family and friends). I'm so glad I can now say I know what a "WILARDY" bag is. Thank you for your contribution to handbag history .
Kind regards
Linda Ramos

What a wonderful website! I was researching a bag I recently acquired, and had no idea that these were made right here in NJ. I remember my Mom and her friends having some of these when I was a little girl handbags in the 1960's, and I just thought that these were so different and pretty, even back then. Very interesting to see the factory photos, and to learn about the construction techniques-like the use of cohesive-I always wondered how these bags stayed intact over so many decades.
